Eva Delliskave Alberico 1920 ~ 2010 Our beloved mother passed away quietly on September 16, 2010.Eva was born September 21, 1920 in Murray, Utah to Felix and Lucy Dipetro Delliskave. She was the youngest daughter of two sons and three daughters. She graduated from Granite High School class of '38. On April 11, 1940 she married Delfino, "Del" Alberico. Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Del, brother Ralph Delliskave, sisters, Lena Ferro and Phyllis Reese and daughter-in-law Carroll Alberico. She is survived by her children, Ted Alberico, Salt Lake City; Maria (Richard) Morgan, San Antonio, TX; Colleen (John) Burgeson, Des Moines, IA; Del J. Alberico, Salt Lake City; and seven grandchildren: Matt (Barbara) Alberico, Garrett Alberico, Jennifer (Mike) Scmitz, Erin and Scott Morgan, Lauren and Christopher Burgeson, sister Perena Icabazzi, brother John Delliskave, and numerous nieces and nephews. Eva was a very sweet woman who opened her heart and home to everyone. She was an excellent cook and always invited everyone who stopped by to join her family for dinner. She loved to garden and planted a flower and vegetable garden each spring. Eva was always excited to see her grandchildren and they loved her home cooking. Eva met Del at a softball game in Murray Park, the start of a lifetime romance. She and Del enjoyed times spent with their St. Vincent friends; bowling and golfing. She worked alongside her husband at their family farm on Vine Street. Eva was a lifetime parishioner of St. Vincent's Church. Visitation will be held Monday, September 20 at 6:00 p.m. with Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 1375 East Spring Lane. A celebration Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 21 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Vincent 's Catholic Church. Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 4th Ave. and T Street. The family expresses sincere gratitude to the staff of Care Source Hospice and St. Joseph Villa and a special thank you to Melinda Nielsen, a very dear friend to Eva.
