June Record Crockett
1922 ~ 2011
With thankful hearts we pay tribute to our sweet mother, June Record Crockett, who passed away peacefully on December 6, 2011.
June was born on June 10, 1922, in Tremonton, Utah, to Hubert E. Record and Bertha E. Parris Record. She graduated from Granite High School, and married her eternal companion, David H. Crockett, in the Salt Lake Temple in 1943. Together they raised four sons, David R. (Jane), Joel (Debra), Paul, and Mark (Elida) in South Salt Lake and Holiday. Dave and June served an LDS Mission in Hawaii, and several church service missions with the church's land management department, traveling throughout many Western states. They also served for 9 years in the Salt Lake Temple. They were a wonderful example to their posterity of testimony and faithful service.
June was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David; brother, Ross Record; and grandson, David Bryan Crockett. She is survived by her sons, 21 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
The family extends warm thanks to Affinity Hospice, and all those who helped care for Mom in her final weeks.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, December 10th at the Riverton 8th Ward, 12345 South 2700 West in Riverton, where friends may call 10:30-11:30 a. m. prior to the services. Interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the L.D.S. Missionary or Perpetual Education Funds.
